Strawberries are not very good at the store until the week of Valentine’s Day. You can find “great-big-huge-giant” ones! Last year at Sam’s Club I even found them with the stem left on. This is especially nice when dipping.

Supplies Needed for the Project:

• Strawberries
• Dipping Chocolate- I prefer the Wilton brand.  You can buy it at Michaels, Joann, and Wal-Mart.  There are a few kinds at the grocery store.  Beware: do not buy almond bark!  It tastes like wax!  There is a brand in a small tub with chocolate chips that is good but pricey for quantity.  You can use chocolate chips but they don’t dry very fast which makes it much more time consuming and difficult.
• Sprinkles (optional)
• Cupcake liners-(optional) mini or small / depending on size of strawberries. *If giving away you want to package them! See video for tip.

I’m always looking for cute covers for my phone but it’s not cheap. So when I saw this idea I was like a giddy little girl.  “Sqweeeeeel”! I ran to Best Buy and Hobby Lobby immediately!

Items needed for this project:

• Clear plastic phone cover:  I found mine at Best Buy.  It comes with either a white rubber bumper or black rubber bumper.
• Cute scrapbook paper:  My favorite stores are Joann and Hobby Lobby.  Scrapbook stores will definitely have your biggest selections. 
• Scissors
• Pencil

Important tip!  There are lots of cute papers that have raised designs. If you try to use these thicker papers, the cover doesn’t quite come up around all the way.  It’s best to use regular printed paper or thin cardstock.

Supplies needed for this project:

Perler Beads- these are the kids craft beads that you use and melt the backside to hold them together. I found a huge jar of them at Michaels but you can find them usually at Hobby Lobby, WalMart, and Target as well.  My large bucket was $10 but I had a 40% of coupon from online that I used.

Ear Buds-Scissors or Box Knife: Please have PARENTAL PERMISSION to use razor if you are under 18!

You can decorate your earbuds for your favorite Sports Team, your school colors, your favorite colors or just random looks really cute as well.  For Valentine’s Day you could give some to your kids in red or pink.

I saw this online and thought it was oh so cute! It was super easy and one of those instant gratification projects. For supplies, I found mine at Michael’s. But any Hobby or Bead store should have the supplies you will need.

Supplies needed:

Marbles-  After much testing, I found that the only marbles you can see the crackle through is the lighter colored plain marbles.  For example: clear, pink or teal.  You want to stay away from dark or patterened marbles.  I got some in a bag in the floral supply section of Hobby Lobby. You can also look in the toy section of some stores.  I also found a marble company in Bonner Springs Kansas called Moon Marble Company.  They were awesome!

Bead Caps- I found the cute studed caps I use in the video @ Michael’s.  You want to make sure that you match your bead up to the cap as to not get one that is too small or too large for the marble.  It needs to be proportionate to the marble.  You will see what I mean when you watch the movie or look at photos of the finished project.

Eye Pins- found in jewelry section of craft stores or bead stores.

O Rings- found in jewelry section of craft stores or bead stores.

Jewelry making tools:  small wire cutters, needle nose pliars, rounded needle nose pliars

Necklace to hang your pendant from!

It was incredibly hard to capture a good picture of this pendant.  It is much cuter than I can photograph.  My camera will not cooperate with my mind….kind of like kids, animals, computers….ah.  Well good luck with your pendant making.  I hope it turns out as cute as your mind envisions!

This year was my baby girl’s “family” year and she wanted entertainment for her guests.  So I was straining my brain trying to think of something that would be fun for everyone and low stress for me.  The photo booth is what we decided on. She was so happy, and everyone had a great time playing with the different crazy photos they took.

Birthday was last month and this month I was in charge of our church Christmas party.  So I decided to make Christmas props and have a photo booth at the party.  You can make your props for all kinds of occasions and themes!  For more ideas you can google “photo booth props” and find all kinds of ideas for your party.

Items needed for this project:

• Cardstock (colors depend on your props )
• Sticks- I used wooden sticks found at craft store.  Mine were about 12″
• Scissors
• Glue gun, or tape

Because we traveled for Christmas (with four kids) I had most packages mailed straight to her house.  But had to wrap everything when I got there. My sister took me to her supplies and I go t everything done in about an hour!  It was so great.  These boxes were definitely the key! I swore I would go home and get boxes like these for myself. 

Items needed for this project:

• Printed (plain would work too) cardboard boxes ( I found mine at Hobby          Lobby @50% off.  I also saw them at Joann, Michaels, Target, and Wal Mart)
• Tule  ( I’ve seen it at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Wal Mart, and Joann )
• Tissue
• Scissors

I’ve already had several people comment on the youtube channel asking about a bow tutorial.  I will definitely add it to the list of things to come.  I hope this makes your gift wrapping easier and faster.  I love a pretty package!

I know I just posted about how much I love leg warmers this year.  BUT, I have a longer running obsession for scarves.   So when I saw this idea, I was compelled to try!  It’s a really different look for scarves and especially popular among teens.

I really love that this idea can be free and makes good use to things I might have thrown away.  So here you go…..  Items needed for this project:

• L or XL  Men’s t-shirt
• Scissors

These are alot of fun to make.  The one thing I really love is the instant gratification for this project. There is no sewing, no gluing, no waiting!  Just cut and voila!

Confession #2- I am not a huge chocolate fan. Don’t get me wrong, I like chocolate alot, I’m just not a chocoholic! I usually like tart or creamy desserts. Favorites include Lemon Bars, Cream Cheese things, Cupcakes, etc.
These taste totally different once the chocolate has hardened into the candy state rather than a fondue consistancy. I think that is what I like. The other thing I love about these is the range of usage! One could really get creative there.

Items needed for this project:

• Marshmallows: either Large or Jumbo
• Chocolate Candy Melts:  I prefer the Wilton brand.  Hobby Lobby carries another brand and I don’t like the taste as well.  DON”T ever use the almond bard or baking crap you get at the grocery store.  Gag!  You might as well eat wax.  ( I hope I am not too harsh about that. )  You can find the wilton brand online, Michaels, WalMart, and Joann.
• Optional- If you want pops you will need candy sticks or something to use as a stick.  I used a cute striped straw.
• Sprinkles or embellishments (Optional)

This is so easy and fun.  I’m pretty sure Chocolate makes everything taste better!

I am really really loving Cute leg warmers or over the knee socks this year!  So when I found this super easy tip, I thought I needed to share.

I made this pair out of an old sweater I already had.  You can use an old sweaters from your closet, or go to Goodwill and find some there as well.  I wouldn’t recommend buying a new sweater as you could just buy leg warmers cheaper probably.

There are so many options as to embellishments.  Buttons, lace, bows, etc…

Items needed for this project:

• Sweater sleeves
• Scissors
• (Optional) sewing machine, surger, hot glue gun, embellishments.

Other places I have seen way cute leg warmers:  Forever 21, H&M, & Target.  So many places carry them but I just wanted to let you know a few cheaper places to start.

• Burlap (yardage depends on qty of placemats) Can be purchased wherever you can buy fabric.  If unsure, google it! A standard placemat is roughly 14″ tall.  Folded in half you would be able to get 6 placemats out of 1.25 yds.
